dizzy for no apparent reason

Today I've been feeling dizzy and I don't know why. Its been a difficult day but my boyfriend is home and letting me rest. Problem is that when I close my eyes the whole room seems to spin. I've also been a lot more itchy and sneezing a lot more. I don't know if they are connected but this dizziness is making everyday things hard. I nearly passed out making dinner. Anyone else get like this? How do you get over dizziness like this?

Sounds like vertigo. It could be caused by an inner ear infection. I believe even bad colds or the flu could cause it.
