Didn't even try. I don't care what others do, but breast feeding was not for me.

im sorry to hear that. i tried with my DD but my supply didnt fully come in and then dried up fast. she got breast milk for the first 3 weeks only.

no shame in that. its not for everyone. i dont judge. if i had been able to breastfeed i was going to stop around 6 months to a year. i would feel weird with a toddler on my tit. but thats just me. different things for different people.

We had a lot of issues with latch and supply so not long at all. If everything was perfect though I'd have done it until they were ready to stop. for example; if my almost 5 year old was still wanting to breast feed, I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it.

Why didn't you get to try? Chub was under an oxygen tent until 4 days old. I'm still nursing her.

I'm breastfeeding until my child seems ready to wean. If that's at 2 years then great, if not then hopefully around 2.5. I'm not going to force something on her that she may not be ready for.
