My first child!

I was wondering how often dose the baby come on the due date? I also wanted to know if the baby dosent come on the due date how long will they make me wait before trying to induce me ??Anyone?

I'm not sure but I'm curious as well. I will watch this post. Thanks for posting..  

Its very rare babies come on the due date. Due dates are just estimated and can be off by 2 or more weeks. If there is no medical reason for an induction most docs will let you go until 41-42 weeks.

Ok my son was due augus 8th I went into labor august 5th. Had to have an emergency c section due to complications. But they want you dialated to five centemeters befor they will induce you.

Only 5 percent come on the due date this is my first pregnancy aswel em I think they make u wait up to 5 days after if that's any help

I havent had my baby yet but iv talked to my ob about it and he said it all depends on what your body is doing. sometimes you can go on for about 2 weeks befor being enduced. Also when u turn 9 months they may enduce u on the spot depending on the water level

my first came 8 days before the EDD

my 2nd & 3rd were induced at 39w & 40w3d

It's like 5% of babies are born on their EDD, mine was though  

Idk about your 1st ? .... But it depends on where you live here in cali most drs wont allow you to go over 41 wks and in oklahoma they let my friend go 3 weeks over.... Almost had to csection bcuz baby pooed in the womb but it really depends

If there is no medical reason to induce you have to be atleast 39 weeks and not a minute before lol literaly. I just turned 39 weeks as of 53 minutes ago and hopefully get induced tomorrow  

I know a lot of people who had their babies on their due date (1st) or before. It's different with every pregnancy and every baby, as they are all different.
 

My first was 3 days late.. Waiting still on my second to see when he comes..
