Do you have any of the Xopenex left? If so, I would just use that instead of the Proventil tonite, then call your doctor in the morning and let them know that the Proventil doesn't work and let them know what you are experiencing right now. Then I would insist that they either renew your prescription for Xopenex or give you something else. Asthma is nothing to mess with...I hate having that feeling that you are describing! Good luck!

Yes I do I have 4 inhalers of it 3 unopened.
I was gonna do that but they just keeping switching it or not listening.   It hurts to breath.

I have Flovent and xopenex but they won't refill my xopenex and are switching that one to albuteriul or whatever.
