But I wasn't referring to "blurring the background" in those edits. I was referring to the "matte" look in those. As I said, the "blurring" is already done in the camera so that isn't done in editing.

I know, I was getting to that. I was just waiting for her to answer lol. She doesn't know basic terms so I don't know who she is to tell someone they need to work on their editing as if she's got an eye for photography.

There is also another lady who has a studio and whatnot. I have been trying to mentor her for the last year and she still sucks as much as she did when I started with her. I'm completely jealous that she has a studio, yet I bust my ass to perfect my images and I can't afford it!!
