Why don't you answer Becca's question instead of responding to me since I'm so "lame". You be the better person and ignore me.  

By me saying practice on your editing doesnt mean you are a smurf up. I meant it like keep on practicing so you can get better at it. Try different programs. You have the proper skills to take professional pictures. Just practice on your editing thats all. The second pics it took away the meaning of the pic and of the center focus. I didnt mean it in a bad way and I dont see how people is been helpful by bitching and stirring things up instead of helping. Thanks and have a nice day op. Lovely pics btw. If I was trying to be a bitch I would of said ugly ass pictures but no I love them but not the editing of the matte ones.

I'm still over here trying to decide which one I like better. I really like the colors though, so I may finally go with the first one for this particular picture.

There you go hun! I love those....you blur the backround so the person stands out more. I love those type of pics.

I just saw that. So, I think that I like the matte when the colors are already muted, but the normal way (whatever it is called!) when the colors are a little more bold....if any of that makes sense.

I think it looks better blurring the backround than taking the color away from the center focus. Jmo.
