Pour the powder into a baggie, snip the end, fill the capsules.

I'm a putz. It'd never work, haha.

Lemme know how it works for you and maybe I'll get brave and try.

And what method are you using to dehydrate? I don't have a dehydrator. At least I have a food processor!

I have had three natural water births and plan the same type of birth for my fourth. I tend to labor and give birth better on all fours but I did give birth lying on my back with my first and ended up bruising my tail bone so never again !! I also delayed clamping all three of my kids cords , the benefits of delaying the cord are to hard to miss if you can help it.

I have a dehydrator. I'll steam the placenta first, then slice it like beef jerky and go to town.   I don't have a food processor, so a blender is just going to have to work for me.
I'll take pictures of the process.

I do not have a dehydrator so I will be baking mine.. And I've read the easiest way to fully fill the capsules is to simply put the ground up placenta into a bowl then scoop the placenta into the capsules
There are a ton of blogs that show different ways to do this

Wonder if its possible to bake it to dehydrate (or dehydrate without a dehydrator) basically.

Then maybe I'll do it. I'll just have to see how well it works for you to fill the caps. I've never really needed it---never had issues with milk or ppd or anything--- but ya never know of this time will be different especially if I have a NICU baby and have to rely on pumping, etc.

Honestly, I'm doing it in hopes that it cuts my PP bleeding time in half.   I'm not concerned about PPD (if I can get through losing Mya, I can get through anything).. and I don't think I'll have milk issues. So I've got everything crossed that it helps with my bleeding! I HATE PP bleeding.

Mine was 7 weeks with Smidget and 4.5 with Deagan. I wouldn't mind cutting it down! I'm allergic to pads and get chemical burns on my bits after 2-3 days. NO fun!

Dang, no kidding! Suddenly my PP bleeding doesn't seem so bad.

Yeah... But at least I know ahead of time that disposable dipes probably will never work for my kids! I HAVE to cloth.

Chemical burn crotch is NO fun---you do not want a blistered vag when you're FORCED to use the thing causing it! I think I'm gonna try cloth pads this time.

I would. Definitely. I bet you could make them for pretty cheap.
