Yeah lol. You don't have to taste it this way. I thought it was a little out there, but my midwife suggested it when I told her I really wanted to bf. (I'm bipolar and the placenta can help rather than going back on meds)

My family just cringes whenever I speak of the home birth.. I'm not even going into keeping the placenta lol
I had PPD with my first and had trouble with my supply, then learned the benefits of the placenta.. I wish I had encapsulated it then!

haah iv mentioned haveing a home water birth to SO once since our new house have a huge tub in the bedroom! ...yes, IN the bedroom! But he was all like no eww i could never take a bath after that l0l (he takes baths like hes a 3yo) haha. BUT he said the hospitals have birthing tubs if i really wanted to do it!

my family keeps pushing me to have her in a hospital. My dad asks me at least once a week to consider an epidural. Which is funny, considering he has a penis.lol I made the mistake of telling them about encapsulation, and my plans to do so and they flipped. They can suck it  

How much does it cost to do placenta encapsulation?

I have done many crazy things. Pushed my first standing, my second on all fours, and my third squatting. We burned the cord (delayed) until it stoppes pulsing. I did placenta encapsulation and have had absolutely no baby blues or PPD. I stopped bleeding at 2 weeks PP and nursing was a breeze. Also had a precipitous home birth (less than 30 minute labor.) It was amazing. Delayed clamping wasnt an issue and it was worth it. Had instant skin to skin, delayed all testing and measurements, skipped baby bath.. everything was perfect.

That's quite immature of him.. You cold also rent a pool. Thats what we are doing since most tubs are not big enough. My husband wants to be in the pool with me.

I believe it ranges from 150-250 give or take. I am doing it myself though..

What's the process? Dehydrate, grind... How do you get it in the capsules?
