I think I have a problem..

In a nutshell BD is kinda what you call a loser, BUT there's times when he gives me false hope, where he treats me like a princess, helps out tremendously, and just the person I feel in love with 5 years ago..so it's frustrating when he acts terrible.
I always said when I got my smurf together I would be able to get over him, well I got myself a job, a car, a house and I'm in nursing school, but I still think I love him lol, go figure....I can't seem to let him go.. As of now we are broken up by his choice because he's on a kick of saying he doesn't wanna be with me anymore blah blah blah, and I'm just like okay whatever, because I'm fed up with how he doesn't even seem to care about working on our relationship anymore and I'm fed up with some of the things he's been doing... but if he gets with someone else I'm going to freakkkk out, I just know it! I don't know what to do, how do you get over someone who you have loved for so long? Everytime I date someone else I just think of him. He's not even great and I know that.. I just miss the closeness and bond we have, mommas help me please!!

I dont know how long you have been broken up. But it honestly takes time. Seriously it does. Go out on more dates. You might connect with someone. With time things wont seem that bad.

It sounds like you aren't in love with him, you are in love with the way he used to make you feel.
You can find that with someone else, if/when you meet a guy that's always good to you. Though I think it may be beneficial to leave relationships alone for a while, and stay away from him long enough to get over him. Don't keep giving in, that tells him that he can walk all over you, which he is already doing.
