Aw bless her   I have some baby porridge that you mix with your breast milk, think that's gonna be one of the first things he tries, as it will taste like milk and he's more likely to like it. Not gonna start him yet though, he's happy with the boob atm.

Oh, never heard of that.
If they are like regular mashed potatoes, with milk and such, I assume that's how they are runny, that's not what the doctor meant by only one new thing a week.

Actually the Doctor is the one who told me to give her Loose Mashed Potatoes and he also suggest grits...

My baby's a little piggiy. She only ate less than a tablespoon but what she ate she enjoyed. But, she's sick right now so she was happy to fall asleep w/her Cereal Bottle...

It looks like all of us mamas are just wondering what she is eating because our doctors have told us different things. For instance, I was told never cereal in a bottle, and never a bottle in bed (can sit in their mouths and damage their teeth).

Like you said all doctors are different. Amberlen has been having it in her bottle since she was 2 1/2 months old b/c she was honestly waking up every 1-1/2 hour hungry so the doctor told me to put rice cereal in her bottle to help her and he was correct. She drinks her cereal bottle and it puts her out for 5-6 hours of sleep. She only gets her cereal bottle during bedtime...

It's normal for them to wake that often, DS sometimes wakes every 2 hours at night

Well I think your doctor gave you bad advice. She wakes up because she is hungry and needs nutrients. The cereal is not giving that to her. She is a baby, a lot of them wake up every two hours give or take for a long while.
