Question

Since I got pregnant but had a miscarriage , do I have to actually start trying til July since that's when I lost the baby or will they start from the date I actively started TTC? I may get pregnant before the end of January and I may not, but after a year I'd like to consider talking to my OB.. I know they say it takes 1-2years for a couple to get pregnant but I know a majority of women seek help after the first year.. I just started AF today, so I won't even be ovulating again to close to the end of November so it will be going on 11 months

Guess i didnt understand it then thougth u had been trying to get pregnant...dont know if it helps but my sister just had a molar pregnencie

and they told her not to get pregnant for a year or it could kill her dont know if its the same thing but they had to take it out.

She's asking women who were trying for over a year when they were able to seek help from a fertility specialist, not teens who didn't use protection how long it took them to get pregnant. And she didn't have a molar.

i dont undertand your question you've been pregnant..so you know you CAN get pregnant...and your rushing into wanting fertility treatments? i'm not tryin to be dumb..but i dont undertstand that.

Is your question should you consider july when you first TTC or when you first first started trying before you had a MC? I would consider July.

They will consider from when you first started ttc. Like I started ttc in March 2011. I conceived and lost a few times before I started seeing my specialist in March 2012. So I had been ttc for a year. Even though, I had lost 5 babies during that time.

I saw my OB when I hit the one year mark of TTC. Granted, I never had a miscarriage, I would think that it would go based off of when you actually started trying.

just forget it. some women WILL and CAN go see a specialist after a one year mark.. Obviously I can get pregnant but I was 22 not going on 27. A lot has changed since then.. If I had 3 m/c they would see right away, b/c if I can get pregnant but I keep losing the baby, obviously something is wrong... Some women get pregnant right away after going to see a doctor the first year of actively trying, if their OB suggests it. Obviously you decided not to see help after the first two years.. A lot of women find out whats wrong with them if they can't get pregnant the first year and/or if they need a boost

Fertility changes over time. I got pregnant with both of my boys relatively easily. My second son it only took us a month to conceive. Since that, when we decided to ttc, we tried for over a year with 6 losses to sustain this miracle baby.

So yeah, it is a good idea to see a fertility specialist. You just never know. Besides, fertility specialist don't usually go straight to meds. They will run tests. Make sure there is no blockages, disorders, if you are even Oing, etc before they usually try meds.

She isn't rushing anything.
