Quoting Gabrielle Hamblin:" <blockquote><b>Quoting PurpleBama582:</b>" After the baby's born, he will put it on ... [snip!] ... an dhusband and act like we are married in our eyes we are because we are gunna sighn the legal papers soon. Good luck hunn"Thanks. We're talking of getting married, and were talking about it before I got pregnant. We don't want people to think we're doing it just because I'm pregnant. He already carries insurance on my older two(he is actually my first husband....yeah, we're complicated).
Quoting Lizplustwo:" Um, "acting" like you're married and calling each other husband and wife has nothing to do with anything. ... [snip!] ... to include the father's income if you're living together and he is the father of the baby. Period. That does not vary by state."I was IN the Medicaid office when I filled out my application. I did it just like the lady said to. Don't yell at me because I was told they didn't have to include his income. That's what I was TOLD by the Medicaid worker, so it's what I'm going by.
Quoting Lizplustwo:" Yes, I'm saying you wouldn't have to include his income. You're acting as though what you're saying is ... [snip!] ... it "must vary by state" is not true because you're describing a completely different (and irrelevant) set of circumstances."I think I misread your previous statement. My sincerest apologies. Yes, if the baby was going to have Medicaid, they would have to include my boyfriend's income.
Quoting Gabrielle Hamblin:" <blockquote><b>Quoting PurpleBama582:</b>" Thanks. We're talking of getting married, ... [snip!] ... husband....yeah, we're complicated). "</blockquote> The wedding will be five months after the baby is born. Oct 31st"Very cool! A Halloween wedding.
