Ovulation spotting?

This morning I had just the tiniest specks of pink on the toilet paper. I had slight twinges on my right side yesterday and we were intimate last night, is there any way to guess it to be ovulation spotting or just from intimacy? We were no rougher than we usually are last night and I have never spotted after sex unless it was right after my period. I have long cycles, and haven't been temping or charting, but I did notice a few days ago I was soft, high and closed, but haven't checked lately as I've been sick and not really feeling like messing with my cervix.
