2nd middle name..

Hubby and I are naming our 3rd son Leland Grant.[last name Owenby] But we would like to give him 2 middle names so i am needing a Short[1 syllable preferably] name to go in between like [ we thought of but are on the fence..Eli Grant] Just some short names =]

Eli is 2 syllables. How about Ford, Paul, Finn, any of those doing it for you?

My son has two middle names as well. But Leland Eli Grant doesn't flow right to me.

I think you need a longer middle name to even things out. GrNt is already one syllable, another one next to it is going to be choppy. I would go the oposite way and do 3. That way the rhythm is 2-3-1-2. (unless i am saying the last name wrong, but i still stand by a 3 syllable middle.) something like Leland Joshua Grant or Leland Oliver Grant - just examples.

Oooh Leland Oliver Grant is wondeful.
I don't personally like the second middle name trend going on right now, but that's a very strong name.

All my kids have 2 middle names Tegan Drabi Lynn- Turner Race Ryker- Lynox Carter Cash- we haven't picked out middle names for this one yet. Its my husbands job but if it don't flow it won't work...good luck and congrats!!

Leland and Eli are too similar. I'd just keep it simple. there's no need to make it complicated. you're already giving the kid a hard time w/ the name Leland.

How is Leland a hard name?

Yeah thats why hubby and I are wanting a new 2nd middle name because we dont think the transition from Leland to Eli sounds right. Joshua sounds nice with it! Also was thinking about Elliot?hmmm dont know though need more names!

LMFAO - you've obviously never read anything that she posts around this forum. What she said here is very very tame for her, it's usually calling the mom a "smurfing moron" and then ranting about how "god awful" something is. So yes, when I see her post her negativity, I call her out on it.
