I don't know. I delay vaccine's and i'm selective based on what i think he doesn't need.

I think there is a correlation. If a child is predisposed to autism but hasn't yet shown any worrying symptoms, some vaccines given at a certain age can aggravate the brain into a forced immune response and induce the disorder that may have been kept at bay by a healthy diet /lifestyle ect. I don't think vaccines cause autism but they are definitely not helpful to those children who have the disorder.

Schizophrenic is not based on one fact, like family history. You are more likely to have it if it is in your family history, and you are also more likely to have it if your mother had the flu while she was pregnant with you, majority in the first trimester. It's really interesting, and it's fact, it's taught in psychology courses as absolute truth.

Definitely not related. My former best friend has 7 siblings who never got vaccinated (their father absolutely refuses saying they dont need to) and she has an autistic brother.

Hmmm. I haven't seen it in any of the psychology classes I've taken yet. Gonna ask my professor about it. Interesting.

Nope. We don't vaccinate or delayed vax, but not because of autism fears.

As a nurse I'm on the fence about this issue. What I don't understand is why they push for vaccines and they're required for school. Why? If your child is vaccinated the unvaccinated child won't get them sick...that's the point of vaccines! And pushing flu shots...they wabt you to be careful about what you eat or paint your nails with because of formaldehyde but injecting it into your body is totally fine.

I am all for vaccinating against polio, mmr, the ones that you can catch and die from. Why does my newborn need a tetanus shot? S/he can't even walk so I don't see the risk? If you look into the ingredients in most of these vaccines it would scare you. Mercury? Why is that even in there?

Do the research and consider delaying them, or not getting some at all. Specially when they're older and are offered Guardacil! But I won't get started on that vaccine.

Well considering that they dont even know WHAT causes Autism, I think its fair to say, that know one can really say if its linked or not. I do think that there are some ppl who are pre dispositioned to having Autism that maybe the shots react and set it off. HOwever I personally feel its a genetic thing. My son has Autism, I think one of my other kids may as well, however he is to young to know right now. I have family memebers who are on the spectrum for Autism. Personally like i said i feel its a genetic trait, however i think for some, the shots could set it off.

I agree. I dont think vaccines are the sole cause for autism but i def think they are a trigger
