I really dont know. Part of me says yes part of me says no. I still choose to vaccinate. They passed a law in CA that if your child is not vaccinated with the whooping cough by 7th grade, they will not let them in school. SOmething like that.

Our pedi has never said anything about an H1N1, but I don't do flu either. DH and I have never done it and don't plan to start now.
I do DD's on a delayed schedule, simply because that is a lot of shots at once. We also delayed her MMR and Chicken Pox until this baby is born and old enough for to get them.

Explain kids that are not vaccinated and on the spectrum then?

This is a very flawed theory. You are born with autism. It occurs in the womb. It's just like any other intellectual disability.

I believe it could possibly trigger it in some children but i dont believe it to be the sole cause of autism.

I saw a report on the news the other day they links it to the flu and fever during pregnancy. Women who had the flu were twice as likely to have a baby develop it and three times as likely if they had a fever lasting a week.

I can see that. More likely that while the brain is developing than something after its formed.

A fetus exposed to the flu is linked to schizophrenia, and that is fact. Not autism.

The article mentions the flu too... Not saying it's the caused for sure because they don't know yet, but it's possible.

Interesting about schizophrenia..I thought it was hereditary? Or could be genetic...
