At what point...

Well Yesterday at 1pm I went to my MW and got a membrane sweep. Baby is at 0 station, 2cm dilated, water bag bulging, 50% effaced.

Since I left, Ive been having contractions. The due date the drs gave me is today. The one Ive been going by, from when I think I conceived, is Thursday. Anyways, I have been having ctx. They feel stronger than the BH Ive had, even while nursing, and Ive had lots and lots of bloody show. But they arent getting regular. I think Im too exhausted to go into full blown labor.... (Ive slept like smurf due to my 22month old getting up at 3am every night and staying up til 7) Last night I tossed & turned and didnt fall asleep til 2ish and she was up at 330 so I got a total of 3hrs sleep, including a nap. I wake up from my nap to a monster contraction, go to pee and a glob of bloody plug comes out :/ TMI sorry... but Im just frustrated. Of course, I want to either go into labor or have it just go away.

So at what point is this prodomal labor? Or could it just be irritation (STILL?!?! though?) from the membrane sweep? Im miserable... here in limbo...

After I passed a bloody glob they told we to go it. The glob was the size f a golfball.

I passed my bloody show at 930 pm and was admitted to the hosp later that night. My mw had told me to wait a bit and not come in right away, but by midnight the contractions were already 5 minutes apart and painful, we were afriad i'd not be able to walk much longer so we went in. My real contractions started at 1030pm already at 5 min apart, went to hosp hour later, and had baby 9 hours from the start of the serious contractions. So i'd say if you're having contractions, and you passed your bloody show, be ready!

Still pregnant. I just passed my mucus plug though. POSITIVE about that lol ICK!!! my contractions are not nearly as frequent as yesterday so I think it must have been just the membrane sweep... but we will see I guess.

i HEARD it can take up to 2 days or something after your plug passes but it should be the start of something? but like you said, it coudl just be the sweep. are you feeling any better? Everhything i was told about my labor didn't go the way they said lol so i don't really believe anything they 'say' anymore

was hoping to hear you'd had baby already!!!!! My goodness. Are you still having any contractions??? And have you spoken to your dr since you're bleeding?

Its not like, bleeding, per say, but bloody mucus? I have lost my plug a few times now. Still pregnant, too. Sigh.
