Parent-teacher Conferences

This will be our first experience with them, any suggestions on what to discuss (if it doesn't come up, obviously) or what to ask?
I want to make sure DS is getting enough attention and being disciplined properly, because he gets in trouble a lot and makes it seem like she just doesn't have much patience with him. But of course, he's 5 so he wont freely admit it if he acts like a monster.

Any good ways to bring it up without sounding like I'm believing and siding with my 5 year old? Because I can't just say "listen bitch, you better be more patient with my kid"

And any other things you wish you would have discussed, asked, etc that you didn't think of at the time?
I just want the time we have one on one with her to be as productive as possible!

TIA

I would just find out what he is specifically getting in trouble for and if anything is being done a preventative measure. Like, if he keeps getting in trouble for talking to a buddy, has he been moved to a different seat? That kind of thing,

Ask as many questions as you want. Point out your concerns. Tgere is no wrong questions when it comes to your kids. Gl.

He has a chart in his planner and when he gets a "red card" she will write the number(s) that correspond to what he did, there's a little key under the chart to refer to to see what the numbers mean. Usually, like, 99% of the time its for hitting/pushing, and not listening. So IDK what can be done

He's supposed to be warned once before getting a red card so either she really doesn't do much to redirect him or calm him down, or he just keeps doing it after being verbally warned.

Hmm, that's tough. Here they really don't have a lot of patience and tolerance for putting hands on one another. You should absolutley bring it up with the teacher and work out your concerns. You can possibly figure out how to end it all together if it's around a certain time all of the time, or always at the same person.. Ya know?!

Ask whatever you want so you don't look back and be like damn I should've asked that! Haha.
