hen to head to hospitial

when is a good time to head for the hospitial how close should contractions be. right know i been contracting every 8 min

How far away is the hospital. If it's not too far I'd wait till they are 4-5 minutes apart. If it's maybe 20 or more minutes away I'd go soon  

my doc told me last week to go if they are 6-7 mins apart.

Well since you have not reached your due date, I would suggest calling your doctor or the nurse station where you will be delivering at. Usually they want you to come in when your contractions are 5 minutes a part. But since you are early I would give them a call.

4mins apart, 1min long, for 1 hour.

If you're not that far from the hospital.

Also how long have they been 8 mins apart? More than an hour or two?
Did they start out that way? Or gotten closer? These are all factors the hospital will want to know. If it's only been 2 or 3 contractions, then give it an hour and see how it goes.

My water broke. By the time I left for the hospital (I had to shower and put make up on lol) I was contracting every 3ish minutes. I delivered 7 hours after I got to the hospital. I think 4 minutes apart is a good time to go.

depends on how long you wanna sit in the hospital for. My hospital im delivering at is an hour and 15 miin away, in the city. Its an hour on the highway and 15 min through the city to get tot he hospital, but im hoping to show up ready to push.

They may wanna try to stop ur labor so I'd call n ask them what to do. Drink water n lay on ur left side n see if they ease or go away?

She's 37 weeks, I don't think they'll try to stop it.  

i went when they where 5 min apart....but i knew i wasnt having the baby soon...i had a 3 day labor

i live 15 min away from the hospitial
