Lets say you are incredibly happy in your relationship/marriage - and your husband/so is cheating on you or has once - and you have NO IDEA at all and do not suspect anything period.

Lets say your friend seen your DH/SO cheating on you with another woman -

Would you rather go on being incredibly happy with your husband and family or would you want that friend to tell you whats going on and take the chance of resenting your friend later on for ruining your happy home and no longer be happy and be miserable and not trust your DH/SO ever again ? (I know she didnt technically ruin it - but it is a feeling that will come up eventually)


This stems from my sisters MIL who said that if ANY ever saw her husband cheating she wouldnt want to know because they are so happy and she wouldnt want to lose that - and she personally would hate her friend for ruining her happiness -


keep in mind that you are blissfully unaware that ANYTHING is going on not even an ounce of suspicion.

I would want to know, there is the possibility of getting diseases from a cheating spouse.

I would definitely want to know. My happy life would be a lie if SO were cheating on me. No matter the outcome, I don't want to live a lie.

If that friend did not tell me then obviously she/he is not really my friend.

I know ignorance is bliss and all that but i'd want to know because I wouldn't want to live a lie. I wouldn't hold it against the friend for telling me even if it ruined my happiness, that would be SO's fault for cheating.

Iy really does. I loved him so much. And I may of acted like a crazy.. I punched him in the face a few times and slammed his head on the floor. DD was at grandmas so she didnt see anything. I like snapped. When you trust someone so much and they do that to yoh it hurts soo bad.

Well, I would be living a lie & that isn't true happiness. I deserve to be the ONLY woman in my husband's life. If he cheated or I cheated, our marriage would be over.
