I don't know. You might need to try a few kinds. I do know that if it is your thyroid, you'll have to take the medicine in the morning and the vitamin at night.

I'm not sure i haven't done much research on what causes it. Mine was a hereditary autoimmune issue. I have what's called Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

Other than weight issues and the occasional issue with my hair or nails I don't have any problems. It's never painful.
