Scheduled inducement question

posted 13th Nov
Did you bring all your belongings with you when you first walked in, or did you leave it in the car and have whoever was with you bring it in after you were in a room? I just don't want to look crazy carrying pillows and bags if I won't be in a room for a while. I just have two bags, a boppy (nursing) pillow and I am bringing a pillow and my body pillow for me. What should I do ?

Also how long usually before you are put in a room? From the time you were told to arrive at the hospital. Just wondering if I will be sitting around or going straight into a room. And should I be there a little early or no?

Thanks mommy's  . I would be very clue less if I couldn't just post and ask you all questions, so grateful I found this site. My mother can't remember anything haha she gave birth 23 years ago.

I brought everything with me when I first got there for both of my inductions. I always arrived about 10 minutes early just because I'm always 10 minutes early to everything lol. At my hospital you have to register first and that takes about 5 minutes or so and then we went to our room.

I only brought my overnight bag. I had it scheduled, but wasnt actually induced until at least 5 hours after I got in my room. I guess there were a lot of women in labor, and I was low priority, but I was in my room. They didnt leave me sitting in a waiting room or anything. I would leave most of your stuff out until you know what is going on at the hospital that day.

Okay yeah I always like to be early too. I just didn't know if I would look like a nut coming early. I have to register to when I get there, that sounds quick good. Thanks for telling me how it went with you. I just sort of like to know what is going to go on.
