Is this early labor ??

Hey everyone !  
I'm 41 weeks pregnant and had 3 stretch and sweeps 2 of which were unsuccessful and the third I had yesterday and was stretched from 1cm-2cm.
For the past 3 days ive been losing tiny amounts of the plug but today I've woken up and lost alot of it and have been cramping roughly every 8-12 minutes but they're only like period cramps.. Is this braxton hicks or ? I dunno haha maybe its just wishful thinking :|

If you think it might be just make a quick note of the time and duration of every little cramp. If they start to build in intensity, length and start getting closer together today might be the day!...Or tomorrow. Or the day after. But hopefully today!

that's what mine felt like. my doctor told me to drink a whole glass of cold water and take Tylenol and wait an hour if it doesn ease up and gets worse it's more than likely labor. my labor felt exactly like period cramps up to 7cm when they started getting a whole lot worse. if it gets worse call l&d and see what they say   good luck momma.

Good luck!! I hope it's def labour for you! I am only 1 day over and think i'll go mad if i have to wait til 41weeks or so to have LO, She just keeps getting bigger and bigger lol

That's how mine felt with my daughter. Walking really helped to progress them along. I went 41 and 1 with my daughter....here's hoping I don't have to do that again!! Good luck hun!!

You lost your plug and are having contractions every 8-12 minutes? Get you bags, go to labor &deliver and be checked. If you are like me, they will continue to feel that way until almost time to push. Or it means, you have from now until the next day or two.... If you don't want to go to L&D, watch for them getting closer and stronger but it is always..... Better to be safe than sorry. Congrats....

I can remember being in labor with DD and just feeling uncomfortable. The cramping kept me up all night but it wasn't intense so i had no idea labor had started lol. I'd keep my eye on it, start timing if they pick up

Thanks all, after a couple of hours of those regular cramps and some more plug loss they stopped :O
Anyone had this happen ?  
Hopefully they'll start up again

Now theyre back but ranging anywhere between 10-18 minutes lol more painful this time round though :S

You should call your ob or the l&d nurses at the hospital and theyll tell you what to do. Hopefully its labor!! Goodluck!

They won't do anything for you that far apart. Tho it does sound like labor is on its way.
