37 weeks and 2cm dialated!

Just got back from the hospital! Good to know im progressing(: thought for a second my body wasnt doing its job lol. Hopefully my princess will be here soon but i know its better for her to stay in there as long as she can! Just very impatient.

I am 2cm and 38w. good luck! yes she has a little more time to bake (:

Until you are in active labor, nothing means anything. You can dilate past that and still go over due. You can lose your plug, and regrow it. I'm not trying to burst your bubble. Just want you to know what to expect.

P.s. I was 2cm at 37wk with my son. Went over due was induced and even with the contractions, never progressed.

If you do go over due, don't jump the gun on induction. Had I known more, I would have waited. My doctor pressured me to do it.

so i just made 24 weeks friday. I have a really big delimma seeing that just the day before i was in the hospital the day before for what i thought were really bad cramps and lower back pain. i sat hooked up to a monitor for about 8 1/2 hours because i was having braxton hicks contractions / or false labor and we couldnt figure out why this is not my first pregnancy but this is the first time this has ever happen and i am a bit concerned. the baby is ok and after a few hours the contractions stopped but how do you relax and not stress or over think situations like this. I am a single working parent and cant afford to stress myself into early labor...

I had contractions / false labour at 25 weeks. It turned out to be nothing but I spent 2 nights in the hospital in a lot of pain because of it. Since then I had no contractions till about 37 weeks. I'm now 2 days away from my due date and at my last appointment at 39 weeks was tightly closed with nothing happening. Try not to stress. If it has stopped hopefully it will be like me and not happen again. This is my third baby but it was the first time I'd felt like contractions before labour at full term.
