What's the longest you 'n your dude..

If you LIVE TOGETHER, have gone being angry with each other/not really talking?

I'm just..curious.
I'd make it a poll but i dont know what my options would be.

Usually we don't stay mad more than a few hours, maybe overnight.
I usually forgive him and things oddly just morph back into normal.

But we're going on 3 days as of tomorrow (one of the days the kids 'n i stayed elsewhere) and i'm just tired of the hostile environment as soon as he gets home from work so i've been taking the kids out to play/friends/family to keep them in a happy place,

because, i'm just not ready to forgive and forget things yet.
(usually with less serious things i would be, sorry trying to keep this vague)
and he's made no move to apologize for things.
though feel like for the kid's sake i need to.

So, has this happened to you?
How long did it last? How did you finally forgive/forget.
(no stories about leaving please)

Eh I'm usually the one to just fake an apology because I hate the awkwardness. We never stayed mad for longer than a day though.

the longest we ever stayed mad at each other was 24 hour. but its usually over with in a few hours

A whole month. Seriously. Then we got into a HUGE fight about something small. Went to sleep, the next morning, (it was on a day we both didn't work thankfully) we made up, talked about everything. We talked about what we should do to make things better and all that stuff.

Not saying to get into a big fight lol, but when it went on that long, I guess that was the only thing that made us click.

About a week. I moved out of the bedroom into the kids room, and I swore we were done. I wasn't just going to apologize though, because he said something that completely crossed the line.

It depends why we fought, but I think the longest was 2 days. Its really hard for us to stay mad at each other for more than a few hours, but I remember he was working most of the days we were angry so we didn't have time to talk it over, and by then things were calmer.

We've gone a week without talking (that's when we were seriously thinking of breaking up). But usually we give each other the silent treatment for a day or so

See, so am i, if i'm the one who's done something, haha. But this time, it's at the point now where we both know it's on him, so he's just kind of silent 24/7 waiting for me to just be happy with him again.

Well I did end up leaving, but that was for other reasons. Uhm... I don't think more that. 2 days with my ex. My curent so hasn't lived with me long enough. Have you talked about it at all?

Not so long ago we were not getting along very well. We did not speak to each other properly for about two to three months, we were still living together but not communicating at all, it was awfull. It took both of us to swallow our pride and sit down and talk about the issues we were having but I am glad we did. A partnership be it marriage or whatever is hard work you just have to know in your self if its worth fighting for.

Honestly, like less than 24 hours, we usually sleep on it and its better or Brooke will do something funny and we'll forget. For really bad things we'll bring it back up at a more appropriate time or randomly later if something reminds us. But we don't go very long with constant anger or anything.

When BD and I were together, I went an entire week not speaking to him. It was REALLY bad. He'd the be one to confront me first. After confrontation, it'll settle down. But I am a horribly stubborn person, and never forget anything- even if it deserves to be forgiven. =/

my husband annoys me on a semi-regular basis. I always tell him he's so effin' lucky I love him so flippin' much (probably visa-versa..).

I'll stay mad for a while, like a few days, then finally, I'll just say something about the whole situation. and usually fight again, until he apologizes, or I feel that there's some sort of resolution (after the kids are in bed).

Six days. It was hostile and nasty and awful. But me freezing him out gave him time to figure out just why I was so upset and made him take my feelings into account before he did something stupid.

a month?   I think the longest me and my husband have stayed mad at each other is like a few days.
