Am I Dilating??

I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and will be 37 in 2 days. I've been having braxton hicks contractions for a little while now and im not sure if they are fake or real. When i walk i feel a needle like pain to a strong pressure in my pubic area and in my vagina. yesterday i had a practice contraction and i felt my vagina spread. i had my boyfriend check and he noticed that it had opened wide enough to fit a finger, than today it happened again ad its about 2 fingers wide. iv looked everywhere on the internet and no one can tell me whats going on. am i dilating?

He shoved his hands up your cervix? Lol Is your boyfriend a doctor? Ask your OB to check you lol. We don't know.

I wouldn't suggest having your bf checking. He could put bacteria and what not up there. Only let your doctor check.

I personally wouldn't let my SO check me...nobody can tell you if you are dilating or not

  this. Your cervix is not near your vagina opening. If it was most women would have gaping vaginas for the last couple of weeks of being pregnant lol. Talk to your doctor.

That's not a good idea to have ur bf check u..if u was feeling those pains u should go get see by someone that.knows what they r doing

he didnt look at my cervix just my vagina opening. its never been this wide without sex. and the fact that i can feel it opening when i have a braxton hicks contraction confuses me i see my doctor on wensday so i can ask then but im impatient. lol

Your vagina opening has nothing to do with dilation.
You feel your vagina opening when you have BH? Is it like, breathing or something?

No but really. Uh. I have never hard of anything like this.

The opening has nothing to do with dilation.
