I haven't been as outspoken as I am about to be. I'm going to my first Texas Nationalism Conference next month. I REALLY want men in black suits to come talk to me. I think it would be fun!

Do you honestly believe that Texas will succeed with secession?

To me, it seems like a giant hissy fit that will blow over eventually. But what do I know...I'm stuck here in Oregon with the hippies.

Not necessarily, but that group has been around since 1994. Do I want it to succeed with secession? Yes, I do. Texas was never meant to be a permanent member of the Union.

What are all your buddies at Fox news and on AM radio saying about it? Do you think that all the states who are signing the petition will go together or do you think they'll try to separate?

They are all for it. I'll get you some links when I get in from smoking. Rush recited the first part of the D of I on his show, Hannity says we need another 1860, and of course Beck has been calling for secession since he moved to Texas.

Did you know that Texas has the 15th largest economy in the world? I learned that today. I think the CSA would reform and they would go together.

In a way.

But I'm sure there would have been plenty of, "I'm moving to Canada" threads if Romney had won.

Yes, I had heard that. Last I heard California has the 4th or 6th largest...or something like that.

Oh, absolutely.

I guess, personally, I am sick of the sore loser mentality in this country. Not just in politics but also in sports, in college, with children, etc. It seems like no one knows how to accept defeat in any way.

People may find me to be odd, but despite whether or not I voted for a person, if they are my president, they are my president and I will continue to pray and support them in any way that I can. That went for Obama and Romney. I love America too much to simply say "Eff you guys!"

Doesn't anyone else see the beauty in the fact that we, as a country, have handed over power peacefully for 236 years?

Maybe its my American pride and all but after watching what happened in Libya, Egypt, the Congo, etc - this is something that we should be proud of! We vote! We don't have to have death and destruction in order to have a new leader. That is AWESOME.
