No more sex?!

So my DF decided its best not to have sex anymore... he's scared of giving me contractions. I've been getting treated for preterm labor for 3 weeks, so he's paranoid. But, I'm kinda upset. My Dr said nothing about having sex... and I want it before I can't have it for 6 weeks pp.

Did this happen to you?
What did you do to convince him to stick it in? Lol.

I'm so sad he doesn't wanna sex me... I'm so horny! Ahhhhhh

If you're already having preterm labor issues I can understand his fear.

Not really, but we can go a few days with out it.   I have to keep telling him "we only have 27 days, could be as little as only 3 weeks and you wont be able to touch me for 6 weeks"

 

Tonight he wanted to drink and I got smurffy because well uh I want sex and he's NO good when he's drunk, now he's sitting in the room lol...poor baby.

I had pre-term labor and my doctor never said anything about not having sex. I was single so I didn't ask though lol

Not that you would just WANT to bring on labor, but won't you be 37 weeks soon? I would think that point you would be fine to do whatever

If you are at risk for preterm labor I can understand his concerns. But I'm sure it is very frustrating for you

I'm pretty surprised your dr didn't already say no sex. That's normally one of the first things to go. If it's any consolation, of all of the times i've been knocked up, i've only been allowed to have sex during the 1st pregnancy.   It can be very frustrating, but the sex is pretty awesome when you finally can do it.

Idk. This whole pregnancy I have had like no desire. But these last 2 months I have been a horndog. I just want to have sex as much as possible now because I know it will be different when we have our little Guy. ;(

I'm just emotional and over reacting probably... but he said before bed thar maybe we can try something tomorrow... MAYBE?! ugh... I'm so irritated... its been over a week. smurf. ;(

I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but i would strongly recommend not having sex if you're having issues with contractions. The orgasm can cause contractions, so can nipple stimulation. Sperm can help your cervix soften and obviously shoving anything up there when it's already irritable is just a bad idea. Not to mention the risks of you getting an infection if you're dilating at all are a big big deal.

Obviously you don't want to take the advice from some random person on the internet, but if it was me, i'd call my OB and see what he says. If he says it's fine, then you can always mention that to your bf.

I'm sure I'm going to sound like a super terrible person/mom for this... but idc if I go into labor at this point. I'm selfish and I wanna get laid. Lol. My Dr said that if I go into labor everything will be fine.

I know its completely out of line for me to say that, and I'm sure I will regret it... but I'm actually feeling kinda depressed that he doesn't want to do me. ;( I need the physical contact... ;(

Is sex worth having your baby possibly being in the NICU? That sounds harsh I don't mean to but it could happen with any baby

No I know, that's why I said I might regret saying that... but dude.... I feel like I'm gonna die. I told you it was a selfish thing for me to say/feel... but that's just what's going on in my body ATM. ;(

I understand it isn't worth it but it doesn't make you feel any better
