How far away is your hospital? And have you been 3 cm dilated since 24 week or have you slowly been dilating more and more?

As long as you feel movements i'm sure everything is fine   I worry about the same things somedays. She'll move alot and some days she'll barely move at all. It's scary but they do have a lot less room now. *happy thoughts* lol

We're almost done ladies! I want to see pics of everyones babies when they're born

I've been having to do NSTs twice a week -_- It's nice hearing her heartbeat and everything but the trips to the hospital are a bit overwhelming. It's all for the baby though, just gotta keep that in mind. Other than that everything is pretty good. These mini BH contractions are getting more powerful though, they stop me in my tracks sometimes. Also, i'm so tired alll the time!! But baby girl is healthy and dropping and should be here in 5 weeks (or less!)

I hope everyone is doing good!! Keep updating us. I may not reply to everyone but I do read everyones posts and I must say I always feel like i'm losing my mind until I come on here and realize that i'm actually perfectly normal haha.

My hospital is about a half hour away, but that didn't stop my last labor, we were only 15 minutes away and I almost had him in the car. And yes I have been dilating more and more.

Then yeah I would definitely mention it. That's scary! Better safe than sorry

Yeah I sent her a message to see what she would say, I'm still waiting to hear back from her. She is afraid that I'm going to go this week so why not just induce so that way the baby can have the antibiotics he needs.

Hey Erica,

how come you have to get NST's twice a week? Is there a suspected problem with oxygen levels?

they're thoughts that go through my mind everyday. i think it's more of the fact that we're psyching ourselves out before we even have the chance to know what it's like. personally, after going so long torturing myself with reading all these horror birth stories & looking for straight answers that i never ended up getting, i learned & discovered confidence i didn't knew i had. in reality, you don't know what you're capable of doing until you do it. don't worry, only you will know how to handle it when the moment comes, i promise.

Welp tomorrow is my second NST of the week then I have yet another appointment Friday. I'm so wore out from all of this! But I know it will be well worth it in the end. Monday they picked up a few contractions that I wasn't even feeling. Hopefully they check for dilation Friday at my normal appointment  Baby has been looking great at my amniotic checks, even had the lady make sure it was a boy! He is practicing his breathing too from what she said as well. I'm getting nervous and every one keeps telling me I'll have him early! I have a feeling it will be the week of Christmas!

Ditto. I'm even dreaming about it lol my mom is trying to convince me to get an epidural because she says she wants me to have the easiest labor possible (ya know, typical mother protective stuff) but i'm really gonna try to do this natural, which makes it even scarier!!

He wants me to get them done because of the complications we had earlier in my pregnancy. I had a blood clot that made the placenta partially detach but it fixed itself, so now the NST's are just a precaution.

I had my 37 week appt. today and I am still not dilated at all. However once again my bp was up a little bit 145/70 so they sent me to the hospital to be observed and of course once again everything was fine. My dr. is also having me do 2 stress tests a week now starting next week. Does anyone know what that entails?

Went in for my normal appointment today and no dilation just 50% effaced. I go back in two weeks. I was told today by my doctor with how my blood pressure is looking she doesn't want me to go to my due date. 39 weeks is as far as she wants me to go. She measured me today and I'm measuring at 38 weeks, I've only gained 5 lbs this hole time so I'm hoping it's super easy to get this baby weight off. I was supposed to get labs done today but when I went to get them done they was closed because of their Christmas party. So now I have to do it Monday when I get my NST done. That AND I have another 24 hour urinalyses to do again. So not looking forward to that.
Any news on you mommas ?
