Im due on the 18th too! when I first got my ultrasound done my doctor told me that he was due on the 23rd and since then it's been the 23rd,18th, & 14th. She told me that she was meeting in the middle with it and said the due date is the 18th. Im very nervous also! This is my first baby and we dont have any little babies running around in my family so he will be the first!

I've never heard of a mucus plug before I got on BG but i'm so glad I know about it because I would probably freak the smurf out if I didn't lol. I'm guessing that I can lose my plug anytime now? I'm 34 weeks.

I just got lucky, my lmp and ultrasound and for as far as I am measuring are JUST right. Haven't had to say this day or that day it's always been the 18th  I was the first to have kids around now everyone else is having them left and right in my family. Surprised no one else is pregnant yes!

I'm due on the 7th. But, I've already had 3 children prior 2 were pre term #2 was at 35 wks. NATURAL DBL FOOTLING BREECH EMERGENCY DELIVERY! He literally wanted to hit the ground running. We went home the very next day. He weighed in at 6lb. 15oz. my #3 was also presenting breech but I dilated from 0-4 and was having contractions and wasn't feeling any of them. after 11 days strict hospital bed rest, an amniocentesis, I was told I couldn't deliver breech because I came in as a non-emergent patient and had no choice but to have a c-section. With #4 I've had 2 pre term scares and I am @ 35 wks and some days and I have the loose stools, bloody show, and on again off again contractions or better yet I only have one in an hour that I can actually feel. Since I had a c-section I was explained the unfavorable use of pitocin because of my prior incision even if I waited the approx 2 yrs to conceive again. But, I found that HE is presenting himself head first. So, I just try to stay HYDRATED and take my vitamins and hope to do most of the lengthy process of labor at home. And save the best for last for the DR.s at the hospital, for the just in case reasons. I read a lot of ladies wanting to give birth already I rather stay pregnant because the last 2 gave me the fright of my life. of I KNOW I'M TOO EARLY TO DELIVER ARE THEIR LUNGS READY? What did I do wrong, that made them want to exit so early! I learned it just happens. So, with all of that, If my water bag breaks it just may mean my due date is wrong once again and I'll have another bundle of joy sooner than I expected. GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOU JANUARY MOTHERS!!!!

I am 34 weeks pregnant and am due on January 21 but my doctor plans on inducing me at 29 weeks because I have super high blood pressure but not preeclampsia. I have been having tons of cramping and I went to the hospital yesterday because it kept me up all night and I was having contractions but they weren't close enough together to do anything. I don't know what is going on. My doctor reccommends I get a lot of rest. I have to see her every week and get an ultrasound every week as well but my baby is growing good. I have already started to pack my bag, but I only packed some baby stuff. Some nghts it is hard to sleep but others I have no problem sleeping. My doctor told me to sleep on my left side but I can't because it hurts. Either side I sleep on, I find that my pelvic bones feel so stiff and it hurts to walk....

I'm due around the 10th and starting to feel paranoid about my little one's movements...I keep thinking I should be feeling stronger movements than I have been the last couple days. I try and tell myself she's just running out of room, but I still worry. I have my appointment for 36 weeks this thursday so I guess I will wait till then to voice my concerns, as I do feel movements still everyday, just not what I've been hoping to feel. People also tell me that I look small for being this far along....it makes me feel bad like the baby maybe isn't a good size. I know everyone carries differently, but it still plays on my mind. I can't wait for thursday to get here, hopefully my OB can make me feel better about a few things.

I have a question to ask all you soon to be mommies. Please don't judge me cause of asking this. I'm 34 weeks and have been on bed rest since I have been 24 weeks along. My cervix in short, I'm 3cm and 90% effaced. I found out last week that my strep b came back positive and that means I will need antibiotics. With my second child my labor was like 3 hours total. With that being said one of the nurses told me that it takes the antibiotics 4 hours to get to baby. I've already had two sets of steroids to develop his lungs because of the thought of him coming early...does anyone else find it unreasonable to ask their doc for an induction because of the fast labors and not sure if I would make it to the hospital on time? I just don't want him to stay in the hospital for 10 days on an antibiotic if I can't make it to the hospital on time. Oh yeah and I will be 35 weeks on Sunday and he is 6lbs 2ozs today at an ultrasound.
