Aw! I was always scared to have Emma sleep next to me, i've heard a lot of scary stories like people rolling over on their kids and stuff. Emma likes to sleep in her swing mostly, we're having trouble getting her to sleep in her bassinet because she doesn't like to lay flat and I think she got to used to motion. She has her good nights and her bad nights. Go get yourself a drink! It was so nice to relax and have a beer. I only had 2 though because I kind of felt guilty lol

Yeah, i'm still getting used to this lack of sleep thing. Emma is up every 2-4 hours. She usually feeds at 11, up at 1, then up again at 5, then 8, then 11 a.m. and from there it's random til night time again. The thing that really sucks about breastfeeding is that Adam can't get up with her (unless I pump but even then she prefers the boob) so he gets a full night of sleep while i'm walking around like a zombie lol he helps a lot though, i'm just jealous that he still sleeps at night! lol

I didn't plan on sleeping with her in the bed because I was super paranoid about crushing her, but I actually stay still with her there. I just keep her away from my husband's side because he moves around a lot. He never hears her when she wakes up though. I have to poke at him to get him to do something, but I'm glad he helps. Marley prefers sleeping by someone or in her bouncer. If I put her in her bed, she's up after 10-15 minutes. I don't think she likes to be flat on her back either. She's always rolling to her side. Oh, and she's always sticking her middle finger up.  

I've thought about having a drink, but then I start to feel guilty.  

My baby boy came into the world Monday the 28th at 1141 pm. I had to have a csection. He weighed 10 pounds. He was to big to come out naturally. We get to go home tomorrow. Im soooo happy. Goodluck to the rest of you that are still waiting on your bundle of joy to come!!!!

Hello ladies!!! My handsome little man entered the world January 22 @ 12:37pm weighing in @ 7 1/2lbs and 19in. long... Now, 9 days later, he's eating like a lil piggy!! lol, 3oz every 3hrs ON THE DOT!! It's SO crazy having 4 kids to care for now, but im starting to get the swing of things... here he is!!

oh yikes, my 6 week check is right around the corner  ....i always hated that check for me.

It's so hard to believe that Ian will be 3 weeks tomorrow! Went last Frieda for his 2 week check up He weighed 7 lbs, one ounce above his birth weight! I'm just glad to hear he is growing, I was super afraid he wan't getting enough breast milk so I was giving him a couple bottles a day. But my fella got paid yesterday and he got me a pump. So far I've used it twice and got 2 ounces which my chubbers has already eat lol. I didn't know how I'd keep a clean house with juggling two kids but it's been super easy so far!! I pick up everything before I go to bed while the boys are asleep. Seems SO much easier than doing it during the day and it gets done 10x faster when I do it before bed.

Ian smiles, hold his head pretty good and LOVES tummy time. I have to keep a close eye on my oldest now, twice now he has picked his brother up because he wants to hold him. He picks him up and holds him like a grown up would and he's only 3! It scared the living crap out of me when he's done it!!

Aubrey will be a month old tomorrow, it goes by so fast! She just got over a bad case of baby acne and seborric (sp?) dermatitis. She has been congested a lot too :-( I have pretty much had a cold since the first week. I have been wondering about having a drink (Friday is my 30th birthday) and breastfeeding, I strictly breastfeed how much do I need to pump so she int effected?

Poor baby! My little one is congested a lot as well. Had to take him to the ER tonight for it  he kept wheezing and it scared me.

My little guy is also congested. You can only pretty much tell if he breathes a certain way then u can hear it..I know time is going by so fast my little guy was a month old on the first and he is growing so fast as well.

My husband is already paranoid over everything with her lol but when she starts gagging and having to catch her breath he flips, it's hard for me because if I show that I'm worried he would be putting her in the car to go to the docter or hospital for every little thing lol , but I'm glad he cares about her that much.

Last night was horrible. The first night since I've had Ian that I've not slept at all. He kept choking and making horrible noises when he did. I woke up with a darn sore throat this morning. Called and made a follow up appointment for him today and one for his brother. To be on the safe side I made an appointment for me as well. I just pray Ian and Conner get better!!

I hope your babies get feeling better as well!!

Everyone is getting sick! Ugh...my boyfriend had walking pneumonia 2 weeks before I went into labor, last week he had the flu and this week he has an upper respiratory infection. Emma hasn't gotten sick yet thank goodness, all she has is a blocked tear duct which i guess is normal. I hope everyones babies start feeling better!

Aww! I wish my little one was growing like yours! She's getting too big too fast. She went from 6 lbs 9 oz at birth to 6 lbs 4 oz at her followup, and yesterday at her 3 week checkup she was 8 lbs 6 oz. She's already lifting her head and being way more alert too...time is flying way to fast  

Hey Gals!

Sophie is keeping me very busy, but I'm loving every sleepless minute of it! Her issue is she grunts and strains alot, and it seems like she is in great discomfort or pain, which disrupts her sleep and during her breastfeeds. I have Googled some things and it could be something that needs time to pass, like an issue with passing gas or bowel movements, or it could be other things. I may make a one month appointment with my family doctor to discuss it. For now, I'm trying not to worry about it. She eats very frequently sometimes and sleeps very little...but from what I read from other moms she's a pretty typical 3 week old! I just keep telling myself it will get better....looking forward to sleeping a little longer than one hour at a time
