I was induced this past Sunday, Aubrey was born at 2:42 pm. She was 7lbs 10oz and 19 in long. I am so happy to finally have my little girl here.

By just a few hours haha. It wasn't my choice though, I would've waited on the induction but my OB insisted because of my fluids :/ But congrats to you!! How did everything go? She's so gorgeous, seems very alert! Are you breastfeeding? I am, but it has not been easy. My milk didn't come in til yesterday, so we had to feed her formula and she didn't react well to the enfamil, she kept spitting it up, so we switched to soy but then yesterday I finally got her to latch and since then my milk has been constantly flowing. It gets messy lol.

Lol don't worry, it'll happen soon! I'd probably still be in the same boat as you if it wasn't for the induction, I felt like she was never gonna come out lol

thanks   yeah i'm BF too, but its not going great...hoping to get past the stingy colostrum phase soon...Sophie and I struggle to get a good latch too...shes so eager to close her teeny mouth around my nipple before I can shove it properly in...i'm already wounded and sore...supplementing formula with every feed too so she gets enough...I don't think she's getting much from my battered boobies right now   Lansinoh cream is my bff right now lol.

The issue I had at first, minus my milk not coming in all the way, was my nipples were a little to flat for her to get a good latch. The hospital gave me a nipple shield which I put over it, and it helped her suck even though there was no milk coming out at first. It helped draw it out and just this morning I was able to get her to latch onto both nipples without the shield. She was only latching onto the left one at first. It's a work in progress lol. And I totally agree, my nipples hurt so bad but everyone says that's normal at first and that they'll eventually toughen up.
