my appointments on the 10th...if I don't pop before then!

Whelp, just got back from my appointment. I'm still only half a centimeter, my cervix is still high, and so is the baby.   I've been scheduled for an induction this Wednesday, but I'm hoping she'll show up on her own before then.

yup you got 3 days...was there a reason the doctor checked your cervix? complications with this or a previous pregnancy? I'm finding it interesting how doctors procedures differ. MY OB won''t check for anything until i'm in labor and won't induce until i'm at least 1 week overdue.

Back from my appointment! Baby girl was being lazy for the NST. Almost had to go to L&D to have her monitored. -_- But they did a little shock noise maker on my belly and it woke her up  
Also, he checked me and i'm dilated to a 2!   My cervix is thin but she's at a -3 station sooo i'm hoping within the next week. Woop!

It hurt so bad when he was checking my cervix though, i got SEVERE cramps and he said it was contractions. Kinda made me scared, especially since I planned on doing it natural but with those pains...i'm not sure about that anymore :/ We'll see..

Mine start checking at 36 weeks, but only every other appointment. They don't let anyone go over 41 weeks for whatever reason, so he set me up with the induction date. He tried to do a membrane sweep, but had trouble since my cervix is really high. Boy, that was painful. I've had a lot of spotting since then. I plan on doing a loooooot of walking these next few days. It worked with my son and I was supposed to be induced with him. Hoping it'll work with this stubborn little turd.

Same with me! I wish I could get induced instead of getting a c-section but my kid is too big I guess  
Made my c-section appt. though for tomorrow, 1pm and my lil (or BIG) man will be here!  

I've been having some scares. Yesterday the doctor pointed out that I need to start doing kick counts since she hasnt been moving alot. Then during the NST they couldnt get enough kicks so they used this noise tool to wake her up which did but they almost sent me to L&D to have her monitored. Then last night I was getting these bad pains, I timed them and they were 5 mins apart then got really irregular. They stopped when I went to bed though.

Now I have yet to feel her move at all. I've eaten, walked around, drank some cold apple juice, laid on my side, etc and nothing. I'm going to the hospital right now to have it all checked out just in case. =/

I'm sure she's ok! but your doing the right thing getting checked out. Did they get a good heartbeat last time too? Maybe labor isn't far away! I've read lots of women worrying about a stubborn baby being lazy sometimes. Hope all is well.

Just got back from my appointment, I'm almost to a 3, baby is at -2 stage, my cervix is just where it needs to be and I'm 60% effaced  I set my induction date for Jan, 15th! She thinks I'll go before that but if not that's the big day. I'm so excited that in a little over a week I get to meet my little boy! Hope you momma's are all doing great!

Good luck Erica, my youngest (just born) would be really really quiet for most of the day for a week and then he showed up. I'm sure she is ok though.

Well she was all good. My heart rate was a little high but that's probably because I was nervous. She was moving a lot actually, I just wasn't feeling any of it. It's weird. But as long as she okay and all then everything is good. I just got paranoid lol

I had my appt on Thursday, I am at a 3 and been having some contractions. I am being induced this Sunday, if she doesn't come before then. I love being pregnant but I am so ready to finally meet my baby girl.

Seee...I knew it'd be ok   I had moments like that too, but I didn't get myself checked (I probably should've) Today she's been pretty quiet so far, but She was super busy for hours last night and some of her movements hurt a lot too! My latest paranoia is she'll be too big to fit through my pelvis or vag by the time I go into labor so they'll either have to do a c-sec or cut me to fit her through...lets hope i'm worrying over nothing as usual.

So who do you think will deliver first, you or me?   My due date is Jan 10, but I have no idea of how thin my cervix is, or how dilated, or how far the baby has dropped...she feels pretty snug in there....if I were to guess, I'd say you! Although I'm gonna be on high alert by the 8th cause I had an IUI to get preg, so I know pretty accurately when I O'd and conceived.

Yeah, I just had to make sure   I'm starting to get the same paranoia! She feels huge when she's moving around alot, i'll feel her really low and all up in my ribs and I just think "...how the hell is she gonna fit out of that without having to be cut out?!" lol. the thought of it makes me ache
