re: January Mamas :)

I've been dilating since I've been 25 weeks....I get checked weekly cause my doc thinks I could still go early....I'm 3 1/2 cm and %70 effaced...I'm getting so uncomfy, my baby is prolly pretty close to 7lbs now, I go see my doc again tomorrow and prolly get checked again if I'm not snowed in.

I hope all you mamas had a nice relaxing Christmas!! Anyone have any Christmas pics they wanna share?

Really? No one wouldve taken pics of me either, but I demanded it lol every picture up there ^^ I literally asked for. lol
Christmas was amazing this year, no family drama for once! lol

So I had my 39 week appt. today and I am only at 1cm, 50% effaced, and the baby is at station -5 which means he is really far up. They had me schedule an u/s for Friday because the dr. said my little (or BIG) man's head may be too big to birth vaginally but my last u/s he was only in the 78% so I am confused.  

Has anyone ever had an issue like this?

I REALLY do not want to have a C-section.

So I had my 36 week appointment today, I'm 4cm dilated (was 3 1/2 on Tuesday) and 100% effaced (was 80% on Tuesday) and babys head is engaged, so I'm thinking pretty much anytime he is going to come, my doc said pretty much the same thing. She said that I'm prolly not going to make it to 38 weeks for sure. Im guessing the next couple days for sure if I dilated 1/2cm in a couple of days. Also with his head engaged there has been a lot of pressure down below and let me tell you its not comfy by any means.

I had my 38 week appointment yesterday. I'm only a fingertip dilated and she hasn't dropped yet.

My next appointment is January 3rd, which is three days before my estimated due date. I think my OB was going to talk about scheduling an induction for some time after that. I hope I've made some progress by that appointment.

I'm in the same boat as you but I am going to prolong an induction for as long as possible!

I want to avoid an induction at all costs. I've heard it takes a lot longer and it's much more painful. Doesn't sound fun at all...lol

I'm hoping to avoid it, especially if my body isn't ready. They said if she's not here by the 13th, they'll schedule me for one. Little turd better show up before then lol.

lol! Walk lots and have lots of sex!   After this weekend that's what i'm going to be doing a lot of everyday. I'm 38 weeks on Tuesday, but she's really low and there's a lot of pressure. I'm hoping I don't go past my due date...I want to meet my little girl! lol

I plan on it... the walking part anyway lol. My DH is a no go for sex.   He says having another person inside me "weirds him out." I still have a ton of cleaning to do too, so I'm hoping that and a lot of walking helps out. Helped make my son show up the day before I was supposed to be induced with him!

Being induced SUCKS. I was with my first and it just made my contractions come faster and stronger. Got hooked up to pitocin at 630 am and had my son at 218 pm. Wasn't to long thankfully!
I wanted to avoid being induced this time but me and my darn blood pressure ruined that  2 weeks unless he decides to come sooner !
