re: January Mamas :)

My OB is a really tiny woman so I'm kinda hoping that that makes her more gentle or it hurt less but then again when I had my exam at the 1st apt she had no issues cranking the metal thing up real big which was super uncomfortable soooo... lol

Today I have an appointment and he assured me that i'm getting an ultrasound to make sure everything is still okay with her placenta. I hope he checks to see if i'm dilated at all or anything   Last Friday I had to go in for an NST and it took 2 nurses and 1 doctor 45 mins to find her heartbeat and keep it because she was being a stubborn butt, so they brought the monitor in to see where she was so they could find her heartbeat and they said she was laying sideways. I know I still have 4 weeks to go but I feel like she should be head down by now :/ We'll seeee...

For the past few days i've felt like death. I can't really keep food down. I have this huge headache that comes and goes at the worst times. And I have zero energy.   This blows.

Im due january 28th the day before my younger brothers 18th birthday actually, but for being this far along i just want my little boy out already i wanna meet him lol he's been moving up a storm lately but the little bugger anytime i tell someone to feel my stomach even his dad he'll stop then when they pull away its like BAM! one two punch mommy lol
but anyways always looking for mommy friends and yes i am a first time mom

I'm due the 14th with a boy . I feel the exact same way. Past few days I've noticed that after I eat, I just feel sick to my stomach. Doesn't matter what I eat or how little of a portion it is, I still get that icky feeling. Trying to sleep at night is pretty much impossible at this point. And that leaves me feeling like a zombie all the time. Ehh I hate it. I wish this "nesting" crap would kick in cause I could sure use the energy lol

See, I have the nesting thing. I'm exhausted and i'll clean one thing, and then i'll see something else and i'll tell myself i'm gonna stop cleaning after I clean that, then I see something else and do it again. I like it but I just wish I felt energized enough to do it, instead of just dragging myself.

I want some energy, too!   Whenever I get around to doing something, I'm worn out after a couple of minutes. Just walking up the stairs has me out of breath. My lower back feels like it's about to break and trying to sleep comfortably, or just sleep in general, is almost impossible for me.

Ugh I'm jealous! I want to nest  I'm still not done with his nursery. I mean, I've got his crib, and everything set up. I just want to decorate the walls and make it looks nice. The walls are white, with blue carpet. Ick. I just feel like a fat, ugly blob all the time. I wish sooo bad that I could have a RedBull then maybe something would get accomplished lol.

Haha, I know! My boyfriend drinks energy drinks alll the time. He loves monsters and I just want one. That's all.
I wish my daughter had a nursery. We moved into a one bedroom apartment and signed the lease for a year and then found out I was pregnant. It'll be like 3 months or so until we move into a 2 bedroom. I have a little space in our room that is decorated with butterflies and has her bassinet and stuff but i'd love to decorate a whole room for her.

had my 37 wk appointment today...as usual, my OB was behind because she delivers babies at the hospital nearby, so she weighed me, took blood pressure, listened to the heartbeat and all of that was fine so as she was heading back out to the waiting room, i'm trying to get some questions answered like "will you be checking for anything next appointment like cervix...she said no need till you are at the end (40wks) I'll see you on the 31st buh bye. I have no idea how big the baby is at this point, or if my body has gotten ready at all for labor so I can be more prepared for a possible earlier date. I guess I should be glad that my pregnancy hasn't had any complications, but I wish I knew more at this point. I'm definately not feeling nesty yet...just more lethargic and restless in bed. Still would like to get a curtain or valance for the nursery, then it will be done! I went with a Hello Kitty theme and I have soo much girly clothes and things...I really hope they were right when they looked for the gender at 18wks!!

I also had my 37 week appointment today. I measured 36 weeks instead of 37, so I'm hoping this means she's starting to drop since my OB said you measure smaller when the baby has dropped. I wasn't checked for dilation this week since they checked at my last appointment, but they'll check again at my 38 week appointment. I was also told that if she isn't here by 41 weeks, they'll be inducing me. I hope this little stubborn butt comes on her own because I really don't want to be induced.

my OB hasn't measured me in a while...maybe she just eyeballs it who knows.

My OB wasn't telling me anything either, I had to ask him to check me last week to see if I was dilating or not and i'm not   Just cervix softening. I was bummed because I see all these women who are 1-3 cm at 30+ weeks and here I am at 36 with nothing. I know it really doesn't mean anything but still, with the pains i've been getting I expected alittle something ya know? My next appointment is the 31st as well lol i'll be 37w6d.

ya for some reason she said to come back in 11 days rather than 1 week? Maybe its the time of year with christmas holidays. I hope my little girl isn't in a hurry to come, anytime after Jan 1st will be fine with me! I haven't noticed any big signs yet, so I'm anticipating a 3 week wait till the arrival. I still have things to buy, bags to pack, baby laundry to do, and a little birth plan to write, so we'll see if irony wants to screw me over as it so often does ;)

I feel you on that! I'm only about half way thinned out. I was so disappointed! By this time with my first I was already at a 3 and a week after that I had him. Wish this kid would hurry up. I don't want to be induced! If he doesn't make an appearance by Jan 11 I'll be induced that day or shortly after.
