Christmas brunch

We are having the in laws over for Christmas brunch. Well I'm already thinking and making a plan of what to make. It's summer so I'm thinking nothing baked and something light and cool.

A small leg ham sliced, sourdough bread, cheese platter, and a nice Greek salad.

Does this sound good or should I maybe throw in something else. We will be having a strawberry cheese cake as well.

And yes I know Christmas is still a month away, but I like planning and being organised  

Feels like it's missing something. Potato salad? Scalloped potatos? I just feel like you need a potato lol

Nah no potatoes here hubs and mil are both diabetic and only have 1 full carb each meal and that would be the sourdough.  

But what about zucchini frittatas?

My dh is diabetic - potatoes were his weak spot lol

Haha mines the same. I made him pic and choose. He couldn't give it all up so I told him just one thing he can have each meal but only a small portion lol. He gave up the potatoes.

That all sounds really good. I have an OT question lol. How do you guys decorate for christmas there? Here in the states everything is based around snow /winter ect.

Pretty much just lights everywhere outside, all out lights are solar. And tree and stuff around the inside of the house.
