I don't think this was a bitter post at all. It was actually a positive outlook on things, especially from someone so young. I couldn't imagine being in my current situation, as a teenager. I'm due in 1 week & 29 years old. The dad hasn't really been around so far (he's 31) & I'm SO GLAD I have been preparing myself to do this alone b/c it appears I will be. He says he wants to be there, but his actions show the COMPLETE opposite. It's different for everyone, but if the dad's actions are showing you that he may not be supportive, it is a good idea to at least be prepared to go through it alone, rather than getting your hopes up that he will change. I think it all depends on the situation though & not necessarily the age.

Good luck to you & I think it's great that you are looking at things in a positive light!

Thank you! I usually see the negative comments, no matter what the issue is, from anyone who disagrees with having a baby & being single.. Or someone just not happy with their own situation! I'll be moving myself, shortly after my little boy is born. I had to move back in with my parents, so it will be stressful with a newborn I'm sure, but I'll also be excited to be back on my own like I'm used to being & should be at my age! ;)
