Yep, the baby is def giving a "Wth?" look. I wouldn't be mad/furious but I wouldn't laugh either.

I found it funny. We always joke that my grandma who is german is going to cook her grandkids, we tell them if she tells you to get in the oven dont, your name is not hansel or gretel, etc. she is always feeding them and trying to get them to eat even if they are not hungry. so yes in my family this is actually hilarious.

I thought it was funny... My sons grandfather tells him he's gonna put him in the oven and make a baby turkey all the time, as soon as he opens the oven door DS runs and hides, makes me laugh every time

i would probally be a little uneasy about it. its not funny IMO but I can see the humor about it and the oven is obviously off.

My first thought was its NOT FUNNY.. it reminded me of that movie "Orphan"... but after reading the back story i laughed.... me and SO and recently started discussing if we would leave our baby with my grandma when its born.... or even his mom for that matter.... their 72 and 62.

People commented that he should've put some veggies or something around the baby.

I mean... It has the potential to be funny. I saw one similiar where the babysitter was in the act of putting baby in the oven as a joke. It's not something I would post publicly just because...but If my babysitters (my parents) sent it to me i'd giggle.
Like the other day when my mom was watching Liam and I texted her to say we were on our way back she said... okay I guess I'll let him out of the closet.
I thought it was funny. Others might not idk.

I dont think the child is abused or mistreated. I just find no humor in it.

I think it's funny, but I would have put some veggies around him or those little paper tassel things on his feet like they use to decorate when its cooked lol

You can see he's on a blanket, they meant it as a joke, and I think it's kind of cute.

Personally, I think if Anne Gedes (sp?) did it, everyone would think it was so cute...but because it was some random person, all of a sudden it's supposed to be shameful...  I think it's very funny...and unless the oven being used in this picture has a history of closing the door, locking and turning on all by itself, this child isn't in any danger.

Right? I've seen infants dressed as lobsters and put into pots. People put their babies in pumpkins, on wagons, in baskets... All for the the "fun" of a picture or whatever. I don't see the big deal.
