Freedom of speech and I would rather see them fly upside down than being burned.

I think they have a right to fly it that way, because they strongly believe in the symbolism of an upside down flag. A sign of distress. But, to fly it in that manner on Veteran's Day seems disrespectful to me.

I think they should know better. How disrespectful, especially ((I am assuming)) on Veterans Day. Show some respect for those fighting for that right to fly that flag today.

It's a legit way to fly the flag. It means distress. I don't understand the controversy.

They, themselves, are veterans.

Both of these men in the article are veterans.

Flying the flag upside down is an international signal of distress.

Who cares they arent hurting anybody!

I don't find it to be that big of a deal. It isn't like they are saying "screw veterans, I hope they all burn, rage rage rage."

They fought for our country and that right though. So just because they want to do something that some may feel to be controversial, they should take it down?

I know, I read the article.

They are two out of all those who fought. They need to show some respect on this day. Sure, it is freedom of speech, but I feel they are only doing it because the person they wanted to win the election, didn't win. They werent doing this when Bush was president, I bet. Just some sore losers if you ask me.

No, it's their right to do that. However, I find it disrespectful. I have the right to not like it.
