re: did sex put you in labor??

Didn't work here with my 1st 2... my son was 15 days late and we started having sex all the time about 2 weeks before had because the dr stated that it could help things along (obviously it didn't tho)... with dd had and ECV and caused her to come 10 days early to do it creating a bulge in the water sac between her head and my cervix....

With my first I was 3 days shy of 40 weeks...nothing helped with her, she came on her own. And with my second daughter (when I had sex and had her the next day) I was a day shy of 38 weeks. I had been about 3cm dilated with her though for about 2 weeks.

With my first I was already having contractions about 10 minutes apart. We did the deed and I went for a walk after at midnight I was woken up by my contractions, timed them and they were 5 min apart tried to sleep bcause I had a dr appointment hat morning. When I got to my drs my water broke before he checkd my cervix, he checked and I was in active labor 4cm

I had sex on a daily basis up to 3 times, didn't put me into labor.

Did with my first. Contractions started like 20 minutes after at 11:45 pm. Got to the hospital and checked at 12:45am and was 8cm, and delivered my son at 1:31 am!
