3-in-1 Carseat Question!

posted 12th Nov
I purchased a MyRide65 convertible carseat for this baby, and I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty. My other DD is still in a 5 point harness so obviously both kids have to be on the sides in the backseat. The MyRide is placed behind the passenger seat and it causes the passenger to have to literally almost lean forward because the seat is so large that the passenger seat cannot be leaned back any farther. Is there anything that I can do to fix this or are these seats just not made to be used RF in smaller cars and SUVs??

TIA!!

It's not that they arent meant to be used in them, it's just that you are meant to just deal with it for a while. Both my kids have my rides in my Toyota Corrola and my daughter is RFing. We just deal with the lack or space, it's better then turning her around.

Oh duhhhhh I didn't think of that! I'm a freaking idiot lol. Yes I will try that. It won't be much leg room but whoever the passenger is will just have to deal

They hold up to ((I believe)) 40 lbs RFing...they are meant for ERFing...and it's safer..

I know that's what I said. That dealing with the lack of space for a while is better than turning them FFing. My daughter is still RFing in hers at 22 months. And my son at five is still using his, but FFing now, almost too tall, so sad. I love te myride.

I drive a Hyundai Accent and my nephew uses the Safety 1st 3-1 car seat..he's 6 months old and we plan to RF until he reaches the weight & height requirement on his seat..I think it RF's up to 40lbs. I am 5'5 and short legged so I always put his seat behind mine and scoot my seat all the way back till it just touches the top of his seat..my younger sister just bought the MyRide65 and we haven't installed it yet..I already know it won't fit..

we have that seat and I drive a 98 mini van. The seat is HUGE! it darn near touches seat on both sides. lol And when I turned it FF I had to recline the seat, buckle the seat in and then put the seat back up. One good thing ( beside the limits and I hear there is now a myride 70! ) is that even FF ( for those of age and weight) it has a recline.
