still okay to use? over a year expired.

so i have some "Buttermilk, Butterflak bisquit mix" it was never openeed, but expired a year ago.

it smells like flour and has the little "butter flakes" through out it. Do you think its still okay to use? no weebles nothing in it, just looks normal.

the only thing that converns me is the "butter flakes" ya know.

I wouldn't use it.

I'd be a little iffy on it and probably wouldn't do it. I had an experience with unopened but expired funnel cake mix that I never want to have again. heh.

A year? I don't think so but it wouldn't kill you I don't think, it's not like there's mold in it. Probably wouldn't rise?

Me and my BF at the time had the runs, really bad, for like a day and a half.

Meh, I'd use it.

I'd use it. Most stuff like that and canned goods are still good a a year or 2 after their expiration date.

It might not come out right.
