Am I over reacting?

Went to the veterans day parade. Went to go start my car. Notta wouldntstart. Called dh who went fishing with his dad at 6 a.m. he didnt even seem to care said he caught some good fish and said we would talk about it later he had to go. Had someone jump me off car died while I was driving had to pull the e brake to avoid recking because I had no brakes. Had to hhave my friend pick me and ds up. My car is sitting in a parking lot. Called dh to let him know and I was kinda bitchy because he is driving the reliable vehicle while his 8 month pregnant wife and 2 year old drive a piece of smurf. While im talking his dad says hang the damn phone up and he sayss I gotta go. I told him to tell his dad to shut the smurf up and then said when will you be back so we can try and get my car. With only one car we cant survive.

Wow they sure treat you like smurf. First of all if I was you I wouldnt drive that junk let him drive that smurf and let him and his dad deal with it if it breaks down. I would raise hell.

I honestly don't know when I'd be done screaming at them! That is absolutly ridiculous. When I get a reaction like that, I lose it and lose it quick. I wanna smack both of them for you!

All I have to ask is does his dad have his own car/Truck that runs... why couldnt they just take his knowing that you had something that you wanted to do that day???

Wow. Your relationship (or lack thereof) with his father sounds atrocious. Of course that's not what this thread is about so I'll leave it at that...
It sounds like you guys should work out a solid schedule regarding who gets to use the "good" car. Sit down together and literally write up a schedule for every day of the week and switch off vehicles at specific times. Compromise is key in any relationship and this is a perfect example of why it's necessary.
