i tweaked a few into my own..
first I chop up a few slices of bacon in cook them up in a pan not TOO done just enough for some fat to drip off and then add a couple tblsp of butter and some chopped onion and garlic, and cook down until translucent.. you can add celery if you want too... then i do a few tblsp of flour and making into a roux. i take a jar of clam juice and slowy stir it in, and then i add a cup or so of half and haflf and then i add some tyme, a little oregeno and white peppar and marjiorum and a few other spices i got from THIS recipe...

i add chopped/no skin potatoe pieces and let it cook, once the potatoe is cooked i add 2 cans of clams along with their juice and warm it through and done..
alot of recipes i try online and realy thick and creamy and "milky" i like more clam favor and use more clam juice
