Oh ok. I didn't hear back from you so I wasn't sure if you decided to do it yourself or if you found someone else.

The vannas choice is good. It's not like it's bad. But for newborns and that kind of market, I obviously use the ones I mentioned for that.

It also helps if after a few washes if the yarn softens up, and I don't get that lucky with vanna's choice. And the one I knitted was zig zagged cables and it was thick and scratchy and the kids hated it.

I think I only ever got 1 skein of Vanna's Choice. Closest to the color I wanted/needed. Never again.
For babes I do like the Bernat Baby or the Caron's Simply Soft. Heck, even for me sometimes I do the Caron's. But usually I stick with the Red Heart. Even after a few washes, yes it softens but I also found it keeps its shape and hold better.

I *have* to buy some more since I will be making a set for a mama on here, and I have no colors needed. But 'fortunately' DH isn't here to see the stash get bigger. lol

Mine all goes fairly quickly. But to keep up with the demands since I work primarily on custom orders, it gets large quite quickly.

I have to get back to work too. I have 2 rudolph hats to make!

I have tote I got from Walmart. It has 2 big bins and one little one on top.

It's overflowing.

My husband hates it.

I also sew cloth diapers. That is overflowing in the front room. I swear my husband hates me sometimes.

Is there a specific crochet/knitting thread? It would be nice to have one to pop in and ask questions and maybe share our projects?! What do you ladies think??

I think that's a great idea! I see questions about it all the time, but never noticed if there was a thread for it.
