So how much does your 4 yr old eat, and what kinds of food do they eat?

DD is 4 years old and weighs 28lbs. She has an app with the Dr coming up and I have been keeping track of her food intake to show them that she eats and eats a lot. What do you think they will say about what she eats.
We are pretty healthy and the kids to eat junk but they also eat really healthy as well. At least it seems like she gets a balanced intake of foods wdyt? Well she drinks massive amounts of milk. I do know that. lol

lol As a baby she was really heavy lol and now is super thin. lol

Anyways her day is like this pretty much.

Breakfast:
Glass of milk, a juice box. 2 bowls of cereal a banana a fruit snack cheese and crackers, english muffin with pb.

about an hour later, she is wanting an apple or bowl of grapes etc.....so she has that.

Snack time (at school) cheese and crackers with kabailsa (sp?) milk, oatmeal cookies (4) an orange. She eats it all.

Lunch (at school) 2 chicken ceaser wraps( lettuce, chicken, croutons, ceaser dressing, tomatoes and cheese) juice box, banana bread, yogurt, pretzels snack thingy with cheese. Grapes. She eats it all.

After noon snack (when she gets home) glass of milk, strawberries and kiwi cut up with pineapple and dipped in fruit dip, with carrots and celery dipped in veggie dip, and usually a small bag of chips(halloween)

Dinner (last nights dinner is my example) Two roast beef sandwhiches smoothered in gravy, with 2 corn on the cobs, mashed potatoes and gravy, serving of peas, serving of broccoli with cheese sauce. Milk then she had a can of pepsi.

Desert she had a giant piece of ice cream cake, followed by 4 dads cookies and a fruit snack.
About an hour later she had a popcicle.

Before bed she shared a bag of popcorn with her sister, while they watched a movie.

ETA: Does she look unhealthy in these pics (low weight for her age)

Good lord your kid eats good, where does she put it, lol. She probably just has a high metabolism and burns a lot of it off, my 3 yr old is having problems gaining weight too, but her ped isnt worried because she is healthy in all other ways.

Talk about a growing child. That girl can put it down!

My 4 year old will only eat that way if she's having a growth spurt. On a normal basis, she really doesn't do meals. She's one helluva grazer.

Idk but she eats more then me. lol. My DS does not eat that much. I limit his milk to 3 cups a day since his doc. told me too. He typically has breakfast (a bowl of cereal) morning snack only at pre school, lunch and dinner. Maybe a snack in the afternoon. He's 39lbs. He doesn't get any pop(soda) and rarely candy. He just eats what we do at meals.

Wow. lol that's a lot of food. Now I'm hungry. Those roast beef sandwiches and mashed potatoes sound amaaaaaazing.

I think 28 lbs is small for a 4yo. My LO turned 4 in August and he weighs about 40 lbs. but when he has his shirt off you can see all his ribs. He's also tall. And I don't think he eats enough. It's a constant battle to get him to eat so at least you don't have that problem. Seems like your daughter has a very very fast metabolism or something

Its is a low weight for a 4 yr old, considering she was 20lbs at 4 months old. lol Ya you see her ribs too when not wearing a shirt,

my 11 yr old weighs 60lbs and she eats like a man and my 17 month old weighs 17 lbs and eats a ton too my 4 and 5 yrs olds both weigh 38 lbs and eat the same thing in almost the same quantity and my 4 yr old will probably out weigh my 5 yr old soon it depend on the kid how they grow i think its crazy how much docs care about weight unless kids are way too fat or malnourished i dont think they should care i ignore the docs unless they think there is a medical reason for my girls being little they are just small they are otherwise completely healthy so if your lo is healthy i wouldnt worry too much about the doc

Its not the Dr's it me. lol I was doing it to show the Dr how much she eats, cause they never said anything about her weight ever. lol

My 10 yr old eats enough, not as much as her and she is 110lbs, but activly plays sports just like my 4 yr old. lol

My 9 month old is on formula and 3 meals and 3 snacks a day and is 15lbs lol and her formula intake is 50oz a day and she only eats table food, no baby foods.
IDK, it just seems like a lot of food to eat kwim? lol

She looks adorable and perfect! Has she been checked for Celiac or a tape worm? Good lord that is a lot of food for a girl that little. My two year old is nearly her size and I can barely get her to eat. Sorry about the late reply. I was planning in responding earlier while I had this up in my phone, but got super busy.
