Just think of it this way: Your LO will end up having to correct people on the spelling for the rest of their lives. The name still sounds the same when said out loud, so why bother changing the spelling around just to make it unique?

Me and SO decided I would pick the name and he doesn't like it spelled Mackenzie, or MacKenzie. It was either "Mackenzie" Brielle or Brielle "Mackenzie" and I like the first one better
