Gone. I've been through the whole cheating thing, and even reading your post brings it all back. I would never be able to handle it. The one exception is if that person had a sudden awakening of some sort (i.e. converted to a religion and was very convicted about it all).

I would definitely leave. I don't think I could stay in a house that we shared. Too much reminiscing and more likely to stay sad for a longer period of time with all the memories there. Like another woman said, I think both parents shouldn't have their children...this sounds like such an unhealthy environment for the children, especially to involve your children in such a grown-up problem.

If she didn't have such an addictive personality it wouldn't worry me so much but she does. She's been on methadone for nearly three years for a really bad opiat addiction.. she's down to 20 ml (almost off it) and everything and now she's going to be pissing dirty and may get kicked off.
I don't think the kids should know either, when he told me he knows what his dad did I was like :O... then he asked me if he had a video of it 'cause mom left the computer on and he read that he did.. poor kid is so disapointed in his dad. I know that was her goal but I don't think it's right.
She's also been beating the living smurf out of him for the last week, but she says she doesn't do it around the kids. The weekend she found out I took them for a few days so she could sort her smurf out, she was apparently going through all of his stuff and for sure leaving but when I dropped them off on the Sunday he was still there. They have such a toxic relationship already.. I can just smurfing imagine what it's going to be like now.

They're both smurfed to be honest. Neither is innocent.
Like, what he did to her is really smurffy. But at the same time they have an AWFUL marriage. They fight constantly, never kiss or show any affection. Don't ever have a nice word for eachother. She was sitting there telling me 'I've been nothing but a good wife and mother and this is what I get, now I'm looking out for me'. I wanted to scream at her. She is an awful mom sometimes.. she smurfed her oldest up. She's better with the younger ones but she is still pretty bad. She steals in front of them, smokes pot in front of them, treats their dad like crap infront of them, doesn't clean, collects welfare 'cause she's too lazy to get off her smurfin' ass.
Her husband is just about as bad.
