I think seceding because of a presidential election is stupid.

That said, if a state can support itself, IDGAF what it does.

I do, however, think that the US government does GAF. I don't think they will let anyone secede, even if it's legal to do it. Last time states tried to secede, we had a civil war. The country is so divided and unstable right now, I honestly don't see civil war as a far fetched possibility.

Really just shows how mad people are, ive never witnessed so much understandable anger and ignorant anger over an election. We are most definitely divided.

we have been planning our move back to Texas for awhile now, and not because of this..but that's where I'm from...

These were started before we even knew who was going to be president...has nothing to do with pissed off people over the election and everything to do with pissed off people on how the government is being run

Lots of people dont see it as just 4 more years, lots of bad could happen in 4 years.

I think it's great. Federal government is.getting way too powerful.

My parents and Dh's best friend have a huge stockpile of guns/ammo/body armor, etc... if smurf goes down, we're driving up there to them. We have a few guns and some ammo, but not enough if smurf hits the fan.

We are already looking to move to TX anyways.

Texas actually has the power and money to self sustain if they wanted to leave the U.S.....
