Exactly. It would have to be a legislative decision. As much as it sucks what the citizens want doesn't hold much weight if the state senate and house don't do anything.

And im here to stir the pot.. i really dont know much about this topic, keep that in mind.  

I'm happy we are close to Canada. A lot of my tribal people live there. I'd head up there if it got bad. My mom is an elected high official of the tribe everyone would take our family in.




Also I read yesterday that there has to be 25k signatures for it to be looked at by congress.

Also, while I'm not saying everything that gets petitioned will have an impact, these petitions are on the White House petition site. Even if they don't work, they will be seen. This is what the site says: "If a petition meets the signature threshold, it will be reviewed by the Administration and we will issue a response."

I think Texas relies a lot on federal money. Same with a lot of other states. Many of our residents are on government assistance, they would be smurfed losing the federal grants for that. I also believe in a time we should be uniting we are being pulled apart. I also think if republicans want someone to blame, they should be looking at their own party for failing them. This is a time in America where we need to be pulling together, and uniting, not creating more division and separation. Possible, just possible, if people were to pull their heads out of their asses, pull up their big boy/girl panties and work TOGETHER to get through this smurf, not sit around on our asses throwing tantrums. But instead, we have people throwing tantrums and refusing to even think of ways to work together for a common good.

Pretty sure I managed to get through 8 years of Bush who we all know is an enormous cesspool of smurf. I think i can deal with 8 years of Obama who is also a heap of crap. I dont allow government to control my entire life. And really I didnt care who would win. I don't like either of them. All I wanted was for weed to be legal. and i got my way with that. Nothing else matters. Sucks we have to have a president, period.
